An it harm none, do what thou wilt
I think people now confuse thought with action.
Basically, when I'm watching or listening to someone I'm not interested in facts. I'm not listening to a lecture. I do not care if what I'm listening to is based on a fallacy.
Because it doesn't matter. I'm interested in the thought process leading to a conclusion, which has the right to exist on it's own.
The conclusion and the thought process is interesting and useful with or without factual backing.

Action, on the other hand... Yes. Action needs to stand on solid ground, because if you interact with the world based on a fallacy - you'll get unexpected results. But thought should not be limited by it.

A guy comes to a conclusion that god is dead. His conclusion is fascinating and his thought process is useful. No limit exploring of possibilities, a picture in time, painted with the mind itself. Art.

And then there are those who confuse thought with a call to action. Sadly. A conclusion does not always call for one, many times it exists just because it can exist. An action should be backed up, thought through, analyzed. Thought can even pass by you without vocalization.

I believe I've stumbled upon another fallacy in collective thinking that leads to many troubles and, let's face it, butthurt. But then again, who cares, it's just my conclusion.
